Trial Version of Cantonese Font

I recently purchased the Cantonese Font and I must say, I truly appreciate the functionality and design of the font.

However, I would like to suggest that you consider providing a trial version of the Cantonese Font for users to download and test on their devices. While I am not entirely sure about the technical feasibility of this approach, a possible solution could be to offer a subset of Chinese characters in the trial version. This would allow users to evaluate the font’s compatibility in their preferred applications before making a purchase.

Additionally, I have encountered some issues when using the font across different applications on iOS. Specifically, some apps do not support the font, or the text appears too small, which affects readability and overall user experience. I would like to send feedback and suggestions to those app developers to request their support for Cantonese Font. By offering a test version for download publicly, it would allow users like myself to recommend your font to developers of various applications by simply directing them to the font website where they can access the trial version without any copyright concerns.

Thank you for considering my suggestions.

Hello. It is a good idea to consider for when the font has fully stabilized. It is very difficult to generate a subset for the Cantonese Font, since almost every glyph is tied with other glyphs in a network of rules (something that no other font encounters).

In the mean time, if they wish to use a version of the font without payment, there is a set of hardship codes that are right by the Community Pass purchase button.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I now understand the complexities of creating a subset for the Cantonese Font and appreciate the information on the codes available for Community Pass.
